antdude Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) Hello. Is there a way to change DVBViewer Pro's skip forward and backward keys' times (ten seconds) to like two minutes/120 seconds? Also, is there a way to use more keys for different values? Thank you in advance. Edited February 14, 2011 by antdude Quote
ThulsaDoom Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 (edited) Hi! Just edit the section "Jumptime" in your setup.xml and change the values to your liking. The setup.xml is located in your config folder. A description about what to do is also placed in tweaks.txt. ..and when you push the buttons multiple times you can do a bigger jump at once. For example: 4x leads to 120 seconds! have a look here Greetings ThulsaDoom Edited February 14, 2011 by ThulsaDoom Quote

Hmm, I tried twice and thrice, but that only did 20 and 30 seconds total. Quote
desweil Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 depends on your setting in the jumptime section, see the link! Quote
ThulsaDoom Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 ...and - if you use a remote control - how responsive your r/c is! If it´s slow to react when you push the foward key - then it will result in two or three 10 sec. jumps instead of one 60 sec. jump! You can tweak this behavior, too - just see my link above. Using the keyboard should give you the right result in any case!!! Greetings ThulsaDoom Quote

I didn't do it fast enough in the past then. So there's no way to change this through program's GUI settings instead of editing the file? Edited February 14, 2011 by antdude Quote
desweil Posted February 14, 2011 Posted February 14, 2011 yes you have to edit the file manually Quote
