hk_ben Posted May 24, 2011 Author Posted May 24, 2011 please check if the filename is correctly written on the recording page webinterface -> details. On the /iphone page ? If so, Yes, it is showing correctly whilst for normal webgui it is correct as well.
Lars_MQ Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 then my gues is, the database browser you are using has a problem displaying it.
cwchan3618 Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 This is to confirm that the reported unicode problem in DVBViewer itself was fixed in 4.8.1. Besides, continue to play recorded video with Chinese file name at the point of exit works now. Since I do not use recording service, I don't have information about recording service. I'll leave it to hk_ben to confirm.
Lars_MQ Posted June 2, 2011 Posted June 2, 2011 The programs use the same codebase, that's why the problem existed in both applications.
hk_ben Posted June 3, 2011 Author Posted June 3, 2011 (edited) Still some invalid character appears in the database files. However, the aforementioned problem (RS web gui not able to locate the recording file) was solved. This shows those db file with invalid character. File recorded to NTFS, file name is correct and embedded EPG info also good. However, content in the EPGlog file doesn't. Is these field used to update into the DB ? Same for recording to NAS. And of course, embedded EPG info isn't available whilst the same problem on the EPG log file. Edited June 3, 2011 by hk_ben
