No audio in HD windows7

I've just started the move to windows7 and umong the issues that I've encountered is that I get no audio on any HD recordings. I predominantly use the cyberlink codecs but I've tried the built in microsoft ones too. Oddly if the file is played back using win7 media player it works fine. I'm using RS 1.6.9 and DVBViewer 4.6.

Install AC3 Filter.

Or fddshow, or cyberlink( arcsoft) oem from a( your) tuner maker.

Have installed AC3 Filter and HD sound now works in DVBViewer, thanks Griga. However, now HD sound does not work in win7 media player.

maybe ac3 filter has higher priority and you need to lower it.

k-lite has an tool to see what codec is use in mediaplayer and mediacenter.
