I also use PS3 Media Server but don't like it ! cause with DVBViewer seek is much better and very fast but there is a problem recording-service can't play MKV's at all with ps3 , but no problem with iDevices ! 2nd there disadvantage with subtitles ... it's not works with iDevices and ps3 with all kind of media streaming while ps3-media-server use same protocol is there any news? intentions to implement these kind important thing (mkv+subs with ps3)? sorry about English ! haupauge Posted April 18, 2011 Posted April 18, 2011 The ps3 is not able to play MKV files you have to demux it. Try to do it with tsMuxeR.
