Sometimes

I thought multiple times If i write somthing concerning this issue, or not. I also dont want something like mercy, but i think sometimes it might be good to show others what time consuming things we have to do (except software developing).

As you may imagine we receive a lot of email and phone requests since a longer time, so i try to shorten conversations a bit and in many cases i suggest in my answers to read related informations written in the forum.

99% of all questions could be solved in this way, but from time to time i also receive such lovely mails as response:

 

Sent: Tuesday, April 19, 2011 4:23 PM

Subject: SV: User data error

 

You are an unbelivable asshole, first you delay sending me the key and I

have to email you three times before I get it set nto me, then you send me

infromation that does not work.

 

If you do not refund you can expect a personal visit when i come down for

vacation in the summer.

Woha, i'm not sure if it is the best idea to ignore this, because the last sentence is obviously a threat of violence.

In this case it does not matter if you are e.g. 2 foot taller and skilled in martially arts.

PS: A friend of mine is body guard and on events where a lot of people appear you have these kind of conversations multiple times on a daily base, but i suppose it is a hard nut to crack if you are not that often offended this way..

You are quite sure about that ? Even though you tell other people in the forum you have no scrambled channels in germany and that you cannot fix the problem that me and several people are having ?

You don’t seem to be listening, there are laws governing these things, I want a refund and if you have a stupid system where you cannot invalidate the login that is not my problem.

Sadly, it's always the idiots who make more noise. There are thousands of people who appreciate the time and talent of all contributors to this project, they just don't shout about it.

 

If we shouted too much, you'd get embarassed, right?!
