LocalHolgi Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 (edited) Idea: Today is the first time since 8 years that the DVBViewer offers a bigger content for an additional fee. I think it is the right decission to integrate bigger features. I personally buy from year to year (at xmas) a new license, but all those who do not, should consider to buy this addon. Even if we do not have that much MHEG related content in germany, you can say at least: Hey i'm the only user who is able to play with Multytext on a PC. The english speaking europeans have BBC, ITV, plus some additional channels which all came with really nice Mheg applications. The best in many parts of germany you are also able to receive them. I know there are a lot users updating their DVBViewer frequently, but brought only one licence years ago. For those of them who want to support further DVBViewer versions: Please consider to buy, or am i the only one who thinks that pushing out a demo, updating the website, plus releasing a bigger version within just such a short period of time is a fact that the amount of buying customer has been something else than decreased? fxv1 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 What are going on about ?? This does not make any sense ?? Would be great if it could play BluRay DVDs instead of that awful PowerDVD. LocalHolgi Posted April 20, 2011 Author Posted April 20, 2011 What has this to do with Bluray? The problem is that it might be hard to get a bluray certified engine licensed, unless you are not a company like Microsoft, Cyberlink and so on. With the proper software you already can watch Bluray DVD's inside the DVBViewer and much more stable than with Cyberlink or other Players. I think its quite stupid to force users to deal with some third party tools instead of removing the nagging copy protection scheme of these videos. I can buy nice videos here for less than 10 Euro as Bluray and i dont understand if the content industry is that scared that somebody can watch the video on a non HDMI compatible TV/Beamer. I guess i forgot to finish the last sentence... Quote
