New version crashes on HD channels

I have just installed the new version of DVBViewer along with the MHEG5 engine.

I have two bugs - the first and more serious one is that whenever a HD channel is selected DVBViewer crashes.

The second bug concerns the MHEG 5 engine. If a BBC Radio channel is selected the MHEG5 information text appears on screen but as soon as it does, the sound is muted.

I have attached my support.zip file.

On BBC1 (non-HD) does the video stay scaled into the window or crop of full size when you browse text pages?

On BBC1 (non-HD) what happens if you select Sport Multiscreen via page 3001 or via home page menu on MHEG5?

I have new version, and BBC HD, BBC1 HD, C4 HD and RTE2 (HD ish) all work, but dropping some frames though it drops the most frames on c4 HD.

Only a AMD 64 Athlon 3700+ single core, CoreAVC 2.5.5 MPEG4 decoder and cheap Asus version of Nvidia GT210 GFX card. It seems doing HD with no dropped frames 1920x1080p 50 via de-interlacing needs maybe dual core or better GFX card or both.

Selection of "Renderer" has a huge impact.

Erm... I'm probably who you think I am :) logeys

Yes, hello Watty!!

Just checked BBC 1 NI and BBC 1 London - the video is cropped rather than a small video on the screen.

No MHEG 5 text on the RTE channels but these are via satellite so unlikely to be any MHEG 5 text there yet.

i'm using an AMD Dual Core processor with a dedicated 1 MB graphics card. The previous version of DVBViewer worked fine with all the FTA satellite channels but not now.

Just checked the Sports interactive...DVBViewer tunes to the STREAM-1 channel however the numbered options on the channel don't work.

There won't be ever as those are Sky Channels.

If there is ever RTE on Satellite with MHEG5, it won't be a Sky Leased Transponder, as it's Sky's encryption and Carriage. Sky uses OpenTV, not MHEG5.

OK Just been doing a little bit of experimenting with the Custom Rendering settings...

I unchecked all the Custom Render options and have stuck with the EVR Renderer and the Microsoft DTV Codec for MPEG2 and H.264.

I can now get smooth HD Video and can still get the MHEG5 text to work on the BBC channels.
