What is wrong with 1.7.2.0? I remember that VLC ask it before, now anyone can see stream.

it never did ask for a password for streaming.

Hmm... Then i am wrong. I remember that vlc ask password, when i open running stream with direct ip to vlc.

Can i add password protection to stream somehow?
