timeshift.dat = mpg-stream?

Hi Christian.

is the timeshift.dat the same stream like a recordet file?

For instance i have renamed the timeshift.dat to timeshift.mpg and i could play this file like a normal recordet file.

If this is right so i would have a chance to get a part of the looked tv programm if ive forgotten to record this, if i had timeshift activated.

You are right, tmeshift file only at begining have additional private data segment with navigation data, good player simply ignore this segment..
