Janne Posted May 13, 2011 Posted May 13, 2011 HI I have just bought a Terratec H7 unit. I currently have a mediacenter PC, Win 7 and ComHem as cable provider. In my computer I originally had a dual DVB_T tuner from Hauppage which works fine. But since I have cable in the house I bought the Terratec DVB-C tuner to get better quality on the screen. I do not have a ComHem box or card, the channels we recieve in the house are part of a package which is prepaid and decrypted before reaching my house. Now to the issue. Terratec Home cinema cannot find all the channels that WMC can pick up through the Hauppage dvbt tuner, and some of which it does find it says they are encrypted even though I can view them from WMC. The Terratec H7 tuner also picks up extra 1 free channel which the WMC do not (that are not part of the ComHem deal). When I scan with the DVB-T setting, no channels at all are found. Why is it that some found channels are listed as encrypted when going through the Terratec tuner (and Terrtec CHome Cinema software) but free (or rather we have paid ComHem to see them) when going through Windows Media Center? WMC does not work with the Terratec H7 unit. Please help me solve this riddle. /Janne
