antdude Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 Hello. I was recording in timeshift mode in my DVBViewer Pro v4.5.0.0 after about 2.75 hours and then my computer decided to lock up hard with its stuck audio. It was my first time too. I tried to play back my incomplete recording, but DVBViewer Pro wouldn't let me skip forward. Is my .TS file corrupted and no way to fix it? chkdsk on that drive with the recording showed no problems. Thank you in advance. Quote
Griga Posted May 22, 2011 Posted May 22, 2011 I tried to play back my incomplete recording, but DVBViewer Pro wouldn't let me skip forward. Is my .TS file corrupted and no way to fix it? I would try TSPlayer (download from the members area, tools section) and a TS -> TS conversion with the "Timestamp Continuity Correction" option. Quote
antdude Posted May 22, 2011 Author Posted May 22, 2011 (edited) I would try TSPlayer (download from the members area, tools section) and a TS -> TS conversion with the "Timestamp Continuity Correction" option. Dang. It looks I only got half of my recording even though it was recording for 2.75 hours. After about one hour and 25 minutes, TS Player stops showing video and fast forward to the end quickly. Shouldn't I have close to 2.75 hours? Does DVBViewer Pro not write datas to the single .TS immediately? Or does it do that write delay? If it does the write delay, is there a way to disable it for DVBViewer Pro? Edited May 22, 2011 by antdude Quote
