Ed_UK Posted May 27, 2011 Posted May 27, 2011 Hi, I am a registered user of DVBViewer Pro (V4.2) and have requested new credentials a couple of times now so I can upgrade to the latest version. However I have not received any messages except for one from Bernd pointing me back to the credential update request page. The current status is that I cannot log into the old or new member's areas. I keep getting the login dialogue box re-appear. Can the support team please help with this issue, many thanks Kind regards, Ed.

I cannot access the new members section. When I click on the link https://www.DVBViewer.tv/members/ ...the page loads and I am prompted for a login and password, I enter my old members section login details and the login prompt just reappears. Regards, Ed.

hackbart Posted May 28, 2011 Posted May 28, 2011 The login reappears, because you already received your new credentials. I wrote this over and over again, could you please use the search function of this board?!?!
Ed_UK Posted May 28, 2011 Author Posted May 28, 2011 (edited) The login reappears, because you already received your new credentials. I wrote this over and over again, could you please use the search function of this board?!?! Hi Bernd, With respect I think there is another issue then. I have already requested new credentials twice and did not receive anything, nor the keyfile or checksum info. I waited about 1 week to receive the new info after I submitted the first request. I didn't get any auto or manual replies from anywhere, only an email reply from you pointing me back to the credential request page, after I contacted you by direct email. If I wanted to request new credentials a third time I cannot because I am unable to get into the new members area. I have cleared history, cookies, password autocomplete etc. Could you please (re)send my new credentials with keyfile and checksum? Kind regards, Ed. Edited May 28, 2011 by Ed_UK
alehop69 Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 (edited) I have the same problem than Ed_UK.... I can´t obtain the new credentials.... Could you please send them to me....??? I´d like to test the new features of DVBViewer..... Thanks in advance... Edited May 29, 2011 by alehop69
hackbart Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 Not really, requests are evaluated automatically - except those by users who brought their license before 2007. These have to become inserted in the database by hand, which takes time. Anyway if you can not log into the members section, with your old credentials, the email has been sent! You might drop me an email - not pm in the forum - with an alternative address which can be used for sending the old credentials. Christian

Christian Thanks for replying Christian, I bought my original license in August 2007. -Quote "Anyway if you can not log into the members section, with your old credentials, the email has been sent!" What email? What does it contain? I have not received any email from anyone or any automated process following my two credential update requests. This auto update logic would appear to be broken perhaps for some users. My email address has been the same for the past 10 years or so and I don't have another. Do you have a mail log to determine if my new details were sent and to where? What good would it do sending me my old credentials if I can no longer do anything with them? Would it be easier if I just pay for the latest version and get new credentials that way? I really like this program, it's much more stable than others I have tried. Kind regards, Ed.
hackbart Posted May 29, 2011 Posted May 29, 2011 To be honest it is quite annoying to write this again and again: How the heck should i figure out by your board name which email you used for licencing 4 years ago!!!!! So either you send me an email with your account used to license the software, or i can not help you
