MP2 audio stick to 192kbps output to audio decoder?

Hi, after upgrading to 4.8.1.0, I found the mp2 audio (no matter 128kbps or 256kbps) is converted and stuck to 192kbps to the external decoder (like ffdshow audio decoder). I recorded a clip and then playback using DVBViewer, the audio bitrate is correct as was broadcasted.

Nope. DVBViewer doesn't convert anything. Most likely your screenshot shows the "static" connection format, which is the format reported by the source filter when connecting to the decoder.

On TV/Radio playback DVBViewer doesn't know the exact format yet when the filtergraph is built, so the DVBViewer Filter uses a default format (with 192 kbps) when connecting. A differing bitrate doesn't matter, because the decoding libraries must read it from the audio headers anyway. You can force TV/Radio pre-format detection by ticking the according checkbox in the DVBViewer DirectX options. It will slow down channel switching a bit, however.

If you want to know the exact format delivered to the decoder, have a look at the DVBViewer Filter property page. It performs a continuous on-the-fly format detection.

Thanks! I tried pre-detect of audio format, then it displays correctly.

Anyway, it's good to know DVBViewer isn't converting the bitrate even I didn't use the pre-detection.
