TBS 6981 Card

Hi,

 

I am using DVBViewer 4.8.1 and am thinking of buying a TBS6981 card. Can you please tell me :-

 

1) Is this card compatable with my version of DVBViewer

 

2) Can I watch 1 program whilst recording another on the same satellite with DVBViewer.

2 yes, provided you have 2 coax cables from your lnb

i have this card

 

no problem

 

i don't understand only how to record two encrypted channel in the same transponder with a tuner, so i can record for example 4 channel in the same time in two different transponder ( 2 channel in the same transponder with lnb1 and 2 channel in the same trasponder with lnb2 )

 

you know how? what settings in DVBViewer ?

 

note: with my dreambox i can do that without problem, and i have my provider card, so piracy or other lame

I have this card too.

 

The software detects that two tuners are available but it is not clear in the manual how it deals with them. I did try an experiment where I set up the timer to record two programmes simultaneously and it worked. So my assumption is that the software automatically uses both tuners when necessary.

 

If any forum experts reading this could clarify it would be very helpful.
