fxv1 Posted June 15, 2011 Posted June 15, 2011 According to WiKi EVR Custom Video Renderer Only available if Use Custom Renderers is activated. The EVR Custom video renderer is basically the EVR video renderer but does the mixing and displaying itself. This allows better control how the OSD is displayed. If you use Windows Vista or Windows 7 this is normally the renderer to use My question is does this renderer provide HW Acceleration so that my ATI card (5770) does most of the work. I'm using PowerDVD Codec 9 with DXVA enabled. On a different topic: Is there anything strange about SYBOLIC RATE 23000 (BBC ONE HD) as I cannot get a decent picture on that channel (via Astra 28.2). Other HD Channels on other symbolic rates are fine. Any help welcome. Frank Quote
