Channel scanning in DVBViewer TE

Hi,

I'm a beginner with DVBViewer TE/Airstar 2 DVB-T.

As far as I see it works. If I use Technisat DVB Setup4PC it scans channels fast, after about 2 minutes it has all my DVB-T channels.

With DVBViewer TE I wait and wait and wait and wait...

How to scan the DVB-T channels very fast? :-)

have you scanned the satllite or DVB-T?

How can I control what I scan?

Oh, I just used "Stammordner Terrestrial EUR". Scans for a while (STOP shown, SCAN greyed) than stops (STOP still shown/black, SCAN black, too). Looks buggy to me.

Next problem: I choose a channel (let say ARD), get about 80 to 90% level. Video image is visible for about 2 seconds in motion, than it stops/freezes for 1 second, than 2 seconds motion again. Depending on my settings it stops with a black screen or a freeze image.

I choosed different render engines or anything else I can change, no difference.

I have a matrox p650, win 2k, of course latest drivers/bios.

That could indicate you're not using the TE.

BTW: You should post some more information. Have a look here for details:

My DBViewer TE has a settings->enhanced->render output I can choose between "unchanged" and "overlay mixer".

Is there another TE?

No, there's only one TE, but I thought you'd spoken of different render cores (source-filters) and not the render output.

BTW: The information (setup.ini...) is still missing. ;)

Bye
