Hi There,

I am using the latest version of DVBViewer with DVB-T in New Zealand and now have the MHEG-5 showing the on-screen EPG which is really nice thanks!

I also use DVBViewer via the web interface for scheduling recording of programs... but the standard DVBViewer EPG does not populate with the EPG from the MHEG-5 plugin.. Is there anyway to make this happen?

Mant Thanks,

Simon

Not yet, the problem is the crid which has to be used for this.

Well it is a bit more complicated than expected. The Mheg Engine returns so called content reference id's which look like this:

crid://C31.community.com.au/191456E62002

crid://service1.tv/4df6a2

You can imagine that this could drive you nuts, because the crid is not linked to the EIT which means i have currently no idea how to get the date and time out of this information.

Right now we focus our job on a few other features which will be available in the next release (Youtube, Vimeo, Podcasts...), but i also work parallel on mheg related issues.

The EIT epg on NZ terrestrial is limited to 12 hours of data.

You will need to process the MHEG5 EPG data not the standard EIT for the full 7 day EPG.
