goldenmidas Posted August 3, 2011 Posted August 3, 2011 Please see the attached image bellow. The web UI of the Recording service doesn't look right when opened into Internet Explorer 9 (my current default browser). There seems to be an extra "overview" text bellow the Programs -menu button and it ruins the UI (the buttos doesnt fit into the designated area anymore). Those buttons / menu looks great on Firefox (the overview text cant be seen with Firewox so the layout works). I'm using Recording service 1.9.0.3 with DVBViewer 4.8.1.0 on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit.
Tjod Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Replace the \DVBViewer\SVCweb\top.html with this one top.zip It change overflow:auto to overflow:hidden this seams to fix it in IE9.
DickyDoDah! Posted August 4, 2011 Posted August 4, 2011 Hi, I noticed this in 1.8.0.1 and it is easily fixed by correcting the German to English translation file. Please see this thread where I found two mistakes. http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/46393-spelling-mistake-on-recording-page/
goldenmidas Posted August 4, 2011 Author Posted August 4, 2011 Perfect, thanks! I believe both of the solutions will work. I changed the line in C:\Program Files (x86)\DVBViewer\Language\rc_english.lng file like this: "lngprgOverview=Programs overview" --> "lngprgOverview=Programs" and the top menu looks great now
