Rec Service and 2 Clients - the second not working

Hi all,

after upgrading DVBViewer and RecService to 4.8.1 and 1.9.1.0 I'm not able to do what I've done since few months ago.

After reading (and testing) all I've found (and understood) on the Wiki, I'm very frustraded and ask if someone please can help me.

I can explane as follows:

Near my TV I have my HTPC and works well (I can see live TV and my recordings)

Is a Win XP Pro SP2 (without Antivirus or other protection).

On it, the Rec Service point to my tuner (Firedtv-s), and the DVBViewer client point to Rec Service thru 127.0.0.1

The problem is the second client that I have on my main PC (under the same router).

I can't see nothing (live TV and recordings (that resides on a second HD (shared) of the HTPC)).

This main PC is a Win XP Pro SP3 protected with an "Internet security" (K.i.s 2011).

In the DVBViewer Options (Hardware), the Discover button of the Unicast device correctly find the server and all the data are the same (IP address and ports 4022 and 3456).

Even in the Options "Recording Service", the test button of the connection find correctly the server (port 8089).

Well, on this main PC, with the browser (IE8) I can see the EPG and the list of my recordings (port 8089) from the Recording Service.

But, if I open the DVBViewer client, I see (and hear) nothing.

In the lower left corner of his frame I see the name of the channel that I select and the green bar with the value 82%, but no audio and no video. Even if I see Lan activity since I close DVBViewer.

On both HTPC and main PC I have ATI grafic cards (Radeon series) and use PDVD codecs (PDVD7 on HTPC and PDVD8 on main PC).

What could I try?

I don't understand if this is a Lan or Codec problem.

I have no other Codecs to try. And on the Manual of the K.i.s.2011 I've found nothing about alternative "ports" to try.

Many thanks if someone gently can help me.

P.S. - sorry for my English (I'm Italian) and for the long post.

I had a similar episode quite long ago and the only thing i did was:

On DVBViewer Options-->Hardware-->Highlight the Unicast device-->Press settings button-->In Autodiscovery Serverlist window doubleclick the "name" of your RS server-->Press "Ok" twice-->Close DVBViewer-->Restart DVBViewer and see if streaming works.

Maybe it could work for you as well?
