If you use the DVBViewer as client for the Service then yes. The code is already in the recording service and runs like intended.

Thanks Christian, tested it a few days and it works with my HD PVR.

 

As an extra note, with this version, duplicate timers (mutliple timers for the same program same time) are produced with the Auto Timer function which I have it scheduled to run everyday. Perhaps you can have a look on that.

Which kind of broadcasts in which region / country do you receive? The Auto Timer function heavily depends on the possibilities provided by the EPG for (re-)identifying broadcasts.

 

Identification only by start time / duration caused missing broadcasts in RS 1.29, which has been fixed in RS 1.30, but on the other side it increases the danger of duplicate timers if the broadcaster changes the start time. Unfortunately it's a trade-off, and there is no perfect solution.

There is no epg data available, we even have to build our own sdt since you just receive PAT+PMT+Audio+Video stream created by the box. The box is nothing more than just a big ad-converter which gets the analog output from the receiver and compresses it.

Thanks for the replies. It is because of the EPG Event ID, which under the new version of Service is the default option, while the local TV station in Hong Kong cannot accommodate. Multiple timer entries can be avoided by disabling it. Best.
