segau Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 I need help with my Recording service. If I record programs with DVBViewer, it records fine. But if I try make recording with RS, it will "start" the recording, but it makes only empty .ts file. I´m using IPTV with RS and dvbview. I have watched almost every forum, but I never find an answer.. What I should to do?
QBox User Posted September 21, 2011 Posted September 21, 2011 Use supporttool.exe to make a support.zip and post it.
segau Posted September 21, 2011 Author Posted September 21, 2011 Okay, here is the support.zip... support.zip
QBox User Posted September 22, 2011 Posted September 22, 2011 I know nothing about IPTV, but there's couple of things I can point out. The svcdebug.log shows that the Recording Service is unable to tune the IPTV device during recording. Both the DVBViewer and RS hardware show 3 IPTV devices, all with "Normal" status. With other tuner types (satellite, terrestrial, cable or ATSC), this would cause a conflict. I don't know if IPTV is the same. The set-up RS-Options-Hardware is to have the tuners "Normal" (in use) while the DVBViewer Pro Options-Hardware has them as "Do not use". You could try this and see if Recording works. To continue viewing the sources in DVBViewer, create additional Unicast devices, with Normal status and DVB-IP type. Usually, you would configure one Unicast device for each tuner - 3 in your case.
segau Posted September 22, 2011 Author Posted September 22, 2011 I don´t have any real IPTV device, it only comes from network. The thing you said wasn´t worked when I tried it, I have many "device" only for recording many channels at the same time. But it doesn´t work on any other computer, so the problem is in the Recording Service. Can anyone help me?
segau Posted September 24, 2011 Author Posted September 24, 2011 Does anyone have a solution for this? I´m losing my nerves with this software..
segau Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Hey, I have thought for recording with Videorecorder plugin. Where I can download the plugin? I have searched it from google, but I cannot find that..
Derrick Posted September 25, 2011 Posted September 25, 2011 read what @QBox User wrote. A device can only be controlled either by the DVBViewer or the RS. If you use the RS you have to set the devices in DVBViewer's hardware options to "not use" and create a number of corresponding unicast devices.
segau Posted September 25, 2011 Author Posted September 25, 2011 Okay, now I did that.. The Unicast device connects correctly to the service, but can´t get any data. In the Rec Service web control panel, the data flow shows 0,000 MB/s. Why the service doesn´t get any data?
QBox User Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 The log doesn't show any complaints now about not being able to tune. Can DVBViewer Pro still tune the streamed channel? It should now be using the Unicast stream from RS.
segau Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 Records are still empty, and the Unicast device can't get any data from RS. It says "Video state: No data/Connected - Audio state: No data/Connected"
QBox User Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 So, DVBViewer can't see any IP stream? But it worked when the Hardware IPTV tuner was set to "Normal"? This is not exactly your problem, but you might get some hint from the user's support.zip files. http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/46517-iptv-unter-rs-funktioniert-nicht-kernel-error-geloest/page__p__342534__hl__iptv__fromsearch__1#entry342534
segau Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 Yes, now i feel like a really stupid man!! The problem was:... THE WINDOWS FIREWALL! When I turned it off, and tried the RS, everything worked perfectly! And I have worried about this problem over 2 months..
segau Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 Alright, now I want to set the firewall back on. What options I should to configure from Win7 Firewall for DVBViewer and RS?
QBox User Posted September 27, 2011 Posted September 27, 2011 Allow program or service access. Maybe TCP port and protocol.
segau Posted September 27, 2011 Author Posted September 27, 2011 It's allowed, but still not working..
