Robzz Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 I am looking for the file format of the satellite ini file. I have looked for hours on Google; but no success. I know there are differences between programs that uses satellite ini files. What format does DVBViewer Pro use? So far I know: [sATTYPE] 1=position (latitude*10) 2=Sat Name 3=? 4=LO 1 5=LO 2 6=switch frequency 7=? 8=? 9=? [DVB] 0=Transponder count 1=transponder frequency 1, polarization 1, symbol rate 1,?,?,?... 2=transponder frequency 2, polarization 2, symbol rate 2,?,?,?... Any help is greatly appreciated Quote
Tjod Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 If you like to edit a transponder .ini for the DVBViewer you should use TransEdit. http://www.DVBViewer.com/griga/TransEdit%20E/Content.html Quote
QBox User Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 1=transponder frequency 1, polarization 1, symbol rate 1,?,?,?... FEC, modulation, Provider Quote
Tjod Posted September 29, 2011 Posted September 29, 2011 For DVB-S2 transponders the .ini includes Roll ON/Off and Pilot informations as well. Quote

trifon33 Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 (edited) I have found that some TP.ini included in DVBViewer/ransponders are mistaken...Astra 19.2 and Terrestric "France" for instance. The best way is to download from KingOfSat the correct file. The syntax is much easier to understand compared with early DVBViewer specific... It is very easy to change lines with text editor anyway... Edited November 4, 2011 by trifon33 Quote
