Problem with EPG update during recording

Hello,

I've been using DVBViewer Pro for several months on my HTPC. I made a lot of recodings using the RS, and I noticed lots of signal errors (Discont.) in the recordings. They seemed totally random at first, but I managed to isolate what I thought it was the problem: my cordless phone. If I received a call while recording, the "Discont." value started to rise. It also happened from time to time, I think because the phone company sends information to the phone from time to time (hour and date settings, voice messages, etc.) and the base sends it to the remote units.

After removing the cordless phone, everything seemed to be fine. But I still noticed lots of signal errors (Discont) from time to time. It happened whatever the signal quality was, and with no apparent regular frequence. However, I was recently recording a channel while looking at the RS status page on the web interface, and suddenly the Discont value started to rise. I noticed that the EPG data was being updated, so I made several tests. Whenever I started a recording, I could reproduce the "Discont" problem by manually starting an EPG update on the web interface.

Since the EPG update runs at programmed intervals (12h), I thought I should have noticed this earlier. But, on one side, there's a small delay from an update to another, so the scheduled start time slowly starts to shift (one update is at 10:00, the next one starts at 10:10,... because it's 12h *after* the update is finished). Also, if you reboot the PC, the EPG update runs at boot time, and after that first run, it goes on the 12h cycle.

Anyway, my question is if it's possible to add an option to DISABLE the EPG automatic update if there is an ongoing recording. I've noticed the "Automatic EPG update every 12 hours if PC is active" option, but I don't want to *completely* disable it, I just want it to do the automatic updates *except* when there's a recording. My guess is that the channel/transponder hopping needed to read the EPG data causes the signal cuts. In fact, one funny observation I've made is that on the recoding logs the signal errors are logged like every 30 seconds (which is the time set per transponder).

I'm using a LifeView NotOnlyTV LV52T Dual DVB-T USB tuner, it's working like a charm except for this.
