Anqquri Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 Hey there, I didn't see a topic discussing this but I have an ISP who offers some freeview channels through IPTV-multicast and I can view and record these channels. I also have a DVB-C card for same freeview channels which is used through Recording service plugin as for some reason the IPTV has a lot of issues through WLAN. The system works otherwise well but the IPTV signal does not have a correct EPG data for DVBViewer. I get the EPG information for the channels through the DVB-C transmission so would it be possible to apply the EPG information from the DVB-C channels to the IPTV channels? There is a guide to getting EPG information through some extra applications (XEPG, XMLTV) but that is more to do with using IPTV with Recording service which I have no use ATM. Is there any other easy way? Quote
PeterF Posted October 15, 2011 Posted October 15, 2011 no, this is not possible, because for the DVBViewer the DVB-C-Channels are different the IPTV-Channels. PeterF Quote
