trifon33 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 Hello, I have found no infos regarding how DVBViewer can use the USB version of Technisat remote control. Is the learning feature available? What I can observe is that some keys react in unexpected way...presently, it is useless... I have found one specific dll in Technisat edition... Is it possible to use it??? Thanks for your help... bogdan1980 Posted November 1, 2011 Posted November 1, 2011 easier mod is intelliremote, but it cost money. Quote
trifon33 Posted November 4, 2011 Author Posted November 4, 2011 I am not very happy with the lack of answer from DVBViewer people about that simple question..... That's not very "pro"... This remote is supported by DVBViewer T2 bundled with the Skystar S2 card.. Quote
Gioxy Posted November 4, 2011 Posted November 4, 2011 Is the learning feature available?Of course; AFAIK you don't need any .dll, it's a HUI device, ie it work as a (special) keyboard... Quote

Gioxy Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 Urg! I'm really sorry, two typos in one shot... I wanted write HIDevice... Quote
bogdan1980 Posted November 8, 2011 Posted November 8, 2011 another program free, is http://www.eventghost.org/ open an hid plugin in evenghost, and set up your profile( or search one on their forum or google). advantages of that is that you could use your remote in anything. Quote
trifon33 Posted November 9, 2011 Author Posted November 9, 2011 Eventghost look wonderfull..... I suspected I could make plenty of things with the Techhnisat IR USB remote.... As a matter of facts, it is not very common to get remote control that can work independently of its DVB device. Thanks a lot.... Quote
bogdan1980 Posted November 10, 2011 Posted November 10, 2011 (edited) yep, eventghost and girder is powerfull. To write text in mediacenter search, to play any software, you could use voice also. Example, i speak loud fraze " play channel A " with evenghost, and this start up my DVBViewer and play channel A. Evenghost is free, but is to hard to use. Girder is the best, but is to hard to use for noobs. I use intelliremote for daily use and girder when i want to show off at my friends, i click on an button that start up my TV,my speakers, set up my dvd, my Xbox, and start streaming:P( with 1 remote button). Or i enter in my house, speak loud to turn on my lights, play some music, turn on tv, and girder or eventghost execute this. intelliremote they have an software for iphone, that makes my iphone playing as an remote, way better then AIRMOUSE. girder has plugs for iphone, androids, and windows telephones. when i buy a new tuner( usb for example) i test it with intelliremote, if it's not working, i play with their HID TOOL( program files/melloware/intelliremote) see what "vid" my new remote has, and send it to melloware, next time intelliremote will support my new remote. this is eventghost voice plug: Edited November 10, 2011 by bogdan1980 Quote
