jhsim Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I have DVBViewer and Recording Service installed on a WHS 2011 server. When a DVBViewer client is run on another PC this causes the WHS 2011 to crash. The WHS Event Viewer reports that the computer has rebooted from a bugcheck (see attached file Error Text.txt) The TV card is a GDI BlackGold BGT 3450 PCI-e Card with BGT3540_6.0.0.49_64bit drivers. The server is bult on a Gigabyte GA-MA78GM-S2H motherboard with an AMD 780G North Bridge and an AMD SB700 South Bridge. Support.zip file attachedsupport.zip. Quote
jf2020 Posted November 5, 2011 Posted November 5, 2011 I have the recording service running on WHS2011. The bugcheck code x24 is related to the NTFS file system. You may want to check your disk and check for viruses, rootkit, etc. Quote
jhsim Posted November 5, 2011 Author Posted November 5, 2011 That sounds possible, I thought the C: drive was getting a bit noisy. Time for a hardware check and maybe slot in a replacement system drive. Thanks for the pointer. Quote
