fundom Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) DVBViewer crashes when tuned to a frequency with weak signal, while other players would go on with display....no matter even if it is not smooth....but still watchable. I wish, if possible, the coders should increase the signal-handling thresh-hold to practical maximum. Watching a little sub-standard display would be better than experiencing crashes! Lars_MQ Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 that's most likely a video and/or audio decoder problem. try selecting another in the DirectX options. Quote
fundom Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 (edited) Thank you Lars_MQ for your attention. To the best of my belief this could not be codecs related. Cyberlink PowerDVD-11 & ArcSoft v2.28.474.133 are the best & latest paid codecs available. And work best with DVBViewer under normal signal conditions. If you could suggest me any alternate codecs, I would be glad to try these & report back. Thanks again. Edited November 14, 2011 by fundom Quote
bogdan1980 Posted November 14, 2011 Posted November 14, 2011 for me, and my setup, cyberlink v11 and arcsoft is not good. With these 2, too much discontinuties. Arcsoft oem codec has problem on live-tv even in happhauge or leadtek software( that use this codec). cyberlink v10, microsoft is good. Quote
fundom Posted November 14, 2011 Author Posted November 14, 2011 bogdan1980, thank you. I will try Cyberlink PD10. Quote
