error: 0x80040218 again and again

I have been using DVBViewer to watch Canal Digital on Thor satellite - without any problem.

As decoders I have used 'ffdshow tryouts'

Recently I upgraded DVBViewer & ffdshow which gave me

 

"Cannot render mediafile/output pin, error: 0x80040218 - no combination of filters could be found to render the stream"

 

Sound is OK but no picture (only subtitles).

Don't understand this ... and where are the debugging features ... without them I am totally lost.

Check start menu -> ffdshow -> videodecoder configuration -> codecs. Maybe MPEG2 decoding is not enabled.
