rizik29 Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 Is it possible to receive BBC channels on Intelsat 27.5W (11495 V 44100 9/10) in DVBViewer? In Transedit I can see this transponder, it is visible that packets are received without problems and without "missing packets", but in stream type column it shows "?" (question mark) instead of mpeg video or audio, PMT and other streams are detected correctly. I'm using Avermedia Aver3D R889 USB card, and this card should not have problems with high symbolrate of this transponder. Quote
Derrick Posted January 23, 2012 Posted January 23, 2012 ..use the search function. Everything on this backup transponder is scrambled according to a proprietary method. Quote
rizik29 Posted January 24, 2012 Author Posted January 24, 2012 Scrambling doesn't cause MPEG Video and Audio streams not to be recognized, which is the case here. I'm interested if this is the problem of software or hardware. And about scrambling, lyngsat and kingofsat claim that this transponder is protected by BISS encoding which is not proprietary. Regarding key for it, this is public forum, and no place to discuss well known illegal stuff Quote
Benarty Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 If transedit can scan the channel, the DVBViewer in most cases too. or in worst case perform a blind scan (takes a very long time) and many duplicate channels) But, encrypted channels will stay black unless a valid smartcard and corre^ponding cam module Quote
EnoSat Posted February 25, 2012 Posted February 25, 2012 BBC on 27 West use crypted PMT pid's , video and audio encrypted in Quote
