ml 05019 Posted February 1, 2012 Posted February 1, 2012 (edited) Hello, I've been to the UK with my computer, and watched some of their TV, and 4:3 to 16:9 aspect ratio change always worked well in DVBViewer. Now when I'm in Latvia, we only have one (1) channel, TV3 Viasat, broadcasting in 16:9, and it changes to 4:3 for every advertisement break. And, DVBViewer does not autodetect the change, so I need to "rebuild graph" every time. Of course, you could say, it's the channel fault. Or the service provider. And so I did think that and I didn't complain for a year. But then, I tried to see how VLC handles it. And it changed the aspect ratio on the fly, no problem. And so did WMC. And when I made this recording: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/56771712/tv3.zip and played it in several players, every one except DVBViewer handled the aspect ratio change properly. So I would say this is a bug, and I hope you will agree. Issue checked on 2 different PCs running Windows 7 and Windows 8 (I've got two licences for DVBViewer if you're concerned ) Edited February 1, 2012 by ml 05019 Quote
