Technofriend Posted October 4, 2004 Posted October 4, 2004 Hi! If you have the possibility you could try to connect the lnb to an analogue receiver to see whether the dish is pointing to the right direction and lnb and cable are properly installed and working fine. What do you mean with 2 yellow marks??????? AFAIK you should leave the jumper as it is. Make sure that u are tuning a station which is on the satletie that your dish is pointing at. Quote
Fantasma Posted October 5, 2004 Posted October 5, 2004 Hello there, Are the yellow marks in the device manager section? if this is true it could mean that two devices are not being recognized by windows or the drivers are not properly installed. The red icon is an application that you can safely shutdown; SkyStar 2 uses it when you have Internet by satellite, just right click on it and select "Exit". It is advisable that you remove it from the Startup section going to: "Start/Programs/Startup" and right clicking on the red icon select "delete", that way it will not run again when you reboot or shutdown your machine. Buena suerte Quote

Klausing Posted October 9, 2004 Posted October 9, 2004 open Scan Tab and and write as sattelite "test" and scan again. It takes some time !!! Because it scans in small steps. After this you schould have some stations. An other question: Do you have some hubs or switches between your SS2 and the LNB? Or have you a direct connection from SS2 to LNB? Steffen Quote
