Direct Streaming

Dear Expert,

 

I have the following questions about my DVBviwer Pro V4.9.5.1

 

 

1. Can I change the "Direct Streaming" (see the TV streaming from Windows Media Player) to mpeg format, not ts format?

2. When I use "Stream to browser", the video always interim not stable at the local LAN. Will the buffering cache is not enough or what else?

'ts' format IS mpeg if that is the codec used for the transmission. This (for instance) applies to all SDTV digital transmission in UK and probably most of the world. 'ts' or Transport Stream is a form of mpeg that is designed for 'streaming'. If you want a .mpg type finite file (eg from a recording) then you need to convert it. I use the excellent ProjectX which demuxes and applies some error correction.
