From what I can read the ID is transmitted in the uplink. If you have any information that this ID is embedded in the downlink please let us know.

Carrier ID is the transmission of uplink GPS location data,

along with other important information such as originator

and equipment details. This information is embedded in

the modem transmit header as part of the current encoder
