I hit a stumbling block in my attempt to get MHEG-5 up and running on DVB-T2 in the UK. I have a PCTV 290e however the remote it comes with is a tiny little thing with no "red button". I been looking around and cant find much information but believe its a requirement to have a remote for MHEG-5 is there a remote I can buy or can I use eventghost or similar? Or am I stuck?

I have a remote control with a red button, but it is not doing as I wish either. I am getting the "Press Red" display on the screen, but when I do, I get a list of recently viewed channels rahter than the interactive menu. I tried to re-program the "OSD Red" button, but nothing changed (showing that the button is correctly mapped).

WinterRo, if you use your keyboard, the F5 key equates to the Red Button on the remote. Hopefully, it will work for you.

EDIT: When I pressed Red on the usual BBC Channels, I got the proper result. It seems that is is only an issue when pressed on the Olympic Specific channels. Will keep playing and see what happens.

On a quick look, it seems that the usual Red Button news screen and 6711-5 stream selection works, but when I select the "Live Olympics" option, the screen hangs, and I neede to change the channel to clear it. On the Olympic HD channels, it seems to ignore the input, but maybe it is also hanging.

This is my experience. Has anyone got this working? All my software is up to date on W7 64bit.
