iriskin
I just installed 1.21.1. Now whenever i try to switch channel in DVBViewer it just hangs.. and DVBVservice.exe shows 25% CPU load in Task Manager(i have 4core CPU so it's 1 core fully loaded). No such problem with previous versions of Recording Service. edit: and memory usage goes insane. DVBVservice.exe uses 1.5GB after couple of minutes edit2: attached support.zip edit3: screenshots: DVBViewer hanging after i tried to switch the channel: http://i.imgur.com/E6UP5.jpg taskmanager after 30seconds: http://i.imgur.com/eerSr.jpg taskmanager 30seconds later: http://i.imgur.com/T3Eqk.jpg (look at the memory usage) 1 minute later: http://i.imgur.com/huRWZ.jpg edit4: i downgraded to 1.21 and everything is fine again support.zip Edited September 8, 2012 by iriskin Link to comment

GruberMa
Same here, too. Please find support.zip attached. [removed] § 13 Do not ask for or discuss plugins for descrambling/decrypting pay-tv or key-codes. Although the DVBViewer Pro provides full pay-tv functionality it must only be used in combination with a valid subscription of a pay-tv provider, a tv-card/box featuring a "conditional access module" (CAM)and/or the corresponding "common interface" (CI) with a smart-card. This applies regardless whether software-descrambling is allowed in your country or not. http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules Link to comment

majstang
So if understanding this correct there's no difference between 1.21.0 and 1.21.2, yes? Link to comment
Lars_MQ
Wrong. The hardware framework has been reset to the "old" handling prior 1.20 due to serious problems with the plugin API. Link to comment
majstang
Thanks for the information. Was asking cuz the hardware framework changes in RS 1.20.0 (1.21.0) didn't give me any problems until the changes made in 1.21.1. I guess it depends which plug-ins you are using. Link to comment
