Please help with XBMC settings

I have a new installation of Recording service 1.22 + XBMC 12 Frodo. I am trying to start PVR plugin with DVBViewer. But I am a Newbie so I need a little help.

 

So DVBviewr is installed and function, I can see the Live TV. XBMC is runnig good with PVR DVBviwer installed. PVR is Activated.

 

No the server is running locally, or the address is 192.168.1.3 all ports are allowed.

 

But where are ports webserver, streaming port and recording port? I see a lot of ports, but I am nut sure what is what.

 

Could you somebody make a sort manual to set it properly? Or I can arrange some remote desktop to me.

But I thing I have something good set, but...it is not working. And I have icon in the tray and there is Service is no active . I need step by step help, or remote desktop .

Did you start the service (right mouse button, start recording service)? If the tray icon is grey, the service isn't running so it won't work with XBMC.

yes and no. The icon is orange, but no recording.

DVBViewer is working stand alone (do I have to start here NETstream?). Everything is running on one computer. I have HTPC with tuner and I want to use there XBMC.

If you use DVBViewer and Recording Service on one PC you have to configure the DVBViewer as network client.

 

If you use XBMC, it is not relay necessary. But it would be a possibility to the is the Recording Service installation is working correctly.

My steps:

1) install DVBViewer

2) install Recording Service

3) in DVBViewer check for new channels

4) setup Recording Service

5) Try to setup XBMC

6) Try to connect XBMC but PVR is not ready

7) Record service is ready (orange) but not working

Did you configure the XBMC PVR to use the IP of the PC where the RS is installed? If you didn't change any port you shouldn't worry about them because the addon uses the default values.
