After switching the window to full-screen mode does not hide the taskbar that remains transparent over the image. For example, DVBViewer GE taskbar hides.

I forgot to start the DVBViewer in debug mode, sorry...

I suppose you're using 150% zoom of the windows desktop. Seen such a report before. Try scale it down to 125%.

I don't speak English, so I didn't understand your answer. It was an attempt at humor or at sarcasm?

When switching window to full screen the video has the right size, it's only overlapped with the taskbar.

No, Im not joking with you! Why would you think that? Im talking about the textsize setting in Windows (Controlpanel Monitor).

Default is 100% textsize. If setting it to 150% (very large fonts) DVBViewer could display such anomalies you are describing cuz it isn't tuned very well for that large fonts. Other people has reported this before.

Enter the compatibility properties for DVBViewer.exe and check the "disable display scaling ....". Then you won't need to change DPI settings (text size).

Hi all,

I'm not sure I clearly asked a question, so I enclose two screenshots (window and full-screen).

My new findings:

If I change in the Appearance from the "no skin" to "default", then the program behaves as expected. Even when you switch back to the "no skin", the program behaves in full-screen mode normally. The problem occur again after rebooting Windows ...

Another computer (nettop Asrock) I use almost only for recording (as PC monitor is used in TV), do not use it for daily work.

On the PC, which is also also use DVBViewer 5.0, in conjunction with the Recording Service, the problem does not occur ....

Conclusion: The described problem is not typical for DVBViewer, manifested only on my PC.

For about two months, I bring up dual TV tuner TBS6680. In addition to DVBViewer I tried other programs like TVSViewer, DVBDream, ProgDVB. With the DVBViewer I even tried different versions of dynamic libraries tbsCIapi.dll.

The test programs I always uninstalled using the Advanced Uninstaller PRO.

I tested a virtual driver (DVB-C) for Windows Media Center. The driver (or program WMC) I tested twice. Virtual driver does not uninstall WMC perfectly according to some symptoms. Any residue in the system remain, I think. Among other problems that may be associated with taskabar DVBViewer.

I communicate with technical support (Steven) for several weeks, the last time I tested a modified version of drivers for Windows. Now I'm waiting to evaluate tests ...

That's about all ...

The problem is related to text scaling, when you increase this to a high value for use on a large monitor. DVBViewer GE can handle text scaling, but Pro can't, so apart from the taskbar appearing in full-screen, you get windows that don't look right (overlapping text).

The solution is to disable the scaling for this application, rather than revert to 100% text size.

Remove taskbar from full-screen window = post 6

QBox User,

Your link me explain the problem (somewhat), I did not know that manifests itself even in Internet Explorer (but here is the taskbar opaque). Only now I took seriously that the problem is related to the size of the text ...

Problem with Taskbar eliminated by setting "disable display scaling", according to your post # 6.

Thanks for your patience, thanks also majstang.

But still, "DVBViewer GE can handle text scaling, but Pro can't," In the Appearance "default" mode DVBVPro can handle text scaling?

OK, it is Microsoft problem. I have big problem with TBS6680 now...

Thanks..

Well, DVB Viewer 5.1 already allows this procedure to suppress my problem...
