Is client demuxing live tv stream?

Couple questions, just to understand better what is happening on my system:

 

1. Is server demuxing live tv stream so that the DVBViewer client (on another computer) only needs to decode this stream?

2. Or is DVBViewer client (on another computer) responsible for demuxing + decoding this live tv stream?

3. Is there any buffering before live tv stream is send to the client?

Is there any way that I can check/control this behaviour?

 

If recording service needs to buffer stram before sending it to the client can we say that "Live TV" is not really "Live".

How many seconds is buffering busy, before sending it to the client?
