UAC Secure Desktop causes paused video to jump a few seconds

Every time the UAC screen exits from the "Secure Desktop" (darkened screen), the paused video in DVBViewer jumps a few seconds (5 seconds, I think), without resuming the playback. It doesn't matter if it's timeshifted or just a local recording (.ts file), it doesn't matter if its SD or HD, it doesn't matter what codec I'm using (I usually use Microsoft's DTV-DVD Video Decoder, but I've also tried ffdshow). It only happens with the EVR Custom Video Renderer, not with the EVR Enhanced Video Renderer.

 

The OS is Windows 7 SP1 x64 Home Premium, current DVBViewer version is 5.0

I can reproduce it every time.

It's the same with DVBViewer Pro 5.1.

Oh yes the solution is quite simple. Don't do anything requiring the UAC while watching TV, just don't.

Do you mean that this is the accepted behavior?

This is still an issue with DVBViewer 5.3.0. I'm forced to use the standard EVR.

It also interrupts live playback.
