On starting DVBViewer 5.2.7 stays on Loading Service Channel List and does not progress. PC abort and reboot necessary.

It did not do this before and I don't know what's changed.

Any advice would be appreciated.

You may have selected Options-Recording Service-Download channel list on start, and the RS is not available. Is RS on the same machine? If so, it may have stopped.

Thanks for your reply; I will check.

However, I upgraded to 5.2.8 and the problem went away (so far).
