perrekk
I might be the very dumbest person here. I have a Skystar 2 card which I have put in my PC. To that card I have connectd my cable from my antenna (parabol). It can recieve information from two satellites, Sirius and Thor. That's all I have, no abonemang or nothing else. Can I watch the coded/locked channels in some way?? I can only watch the "free channels". Can I watch the coded/locked channels in some way?? Cheers Petter / a confused Swede Quote Link to comment

boborg
Wasn't there some news one time on the forum about a common interface addon coming from Technisat for the Skystar 2? Quote Link to comment

clip
What about the Technisat Skystar 1 CI? Its a card with common interface. Can I use the DVBViewer with this card? Quote Link to comment
Klausing
What about the Technisat Skystar 1 CI? This card is no longer an offical produkt of TechniSat. Look at their homepage and you don't find it.DVBViewer support only cards with b2c2 chip set. Quote Link to comment
Guest Oliver
I think he's speaking of the new SS1 CI, but this one you will find neither on the American nor the German TechniSat website, although it is mentioned on some East-European and a UK website. But this chipset isn't supported yet by the DVBViewer. Bye, Oliver Quote Link to comment
boborg
If Technisat offer a common interface addon will this also work for Cablestar and Airstar? Quote Link to comment
