DunnoX Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Hi everyone, my question is using Sat>ip does the descrambling need to be handle by the server or can it be handled by the receiving client. Quote
Tjod Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 If you use the DVBViewer/Recording Service as client or the Recording Service as server yes, it need to be handled by the server. Quote
DunnoX Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 I wonder if it will be possible in the future by syncing the "dvb clock" in the transmission with the client card (like storing in memory somehow the DCWs and then using them with when the correct timestamp is played). Quote
Tjod Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 You would need a legal possibility decrypt the channels interdependent from a TV card. e.g. a special device to connect a CAM to the PC. (Yes I know there is the Hauppauge WinTV-CI, that where a possibility. But it has Problems with same transponders so i think not that it will drive a change) Quote
