pemat Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 When playing video can't control audio. Have set SPDIF out to AV controller. Tried to change settings, restart bus still the same. Windows volume also do not work when playing video, only mute work. When watching TV is all ok. Motherboard Gigabyte G1 sniper Z87 with newest drivers support.zip Quote
Tjod Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 If you use SPDIF, the PC doesn't decode decode the audio. The audio is proceed in the device which receive it. So you can only change the Volume in the receiving device. Quote
pemat Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 Yes that's true but i can control volume all the time, and it was working before. Since new version i can't control volume when watching video through Dvbviwer. When watching TV through DVBViewer is all fine, volume control works fine. Quote
hdv Posted May 4, 2014 Posted May 4, 2014 is for Video and TV the same Audio Decoder in use? check this under settings -> Filters Quote
pemat Posted May 4, 2014 Author Posted May 4, 2014 yes that was the reason, when i set microsoft codec for all is all good again. Thank you very much hdv! Quote
