PerryM Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 I have got a TBS MOI device on my network. It is working fine to XBMC via TVHeadend. I want to add it to my DVBViewer system to give two extra tuners (it already has two internal Sat tuners). I can add the device as two RTSP Network Devices in DVBViewer & RS config but in the Hardware/settings menu I am not getting any servers showing up in the window. Can somebody suggest where I need to go next? If I get them enabled, do I need to do a new channel scan? (obviously the existing Sat tuners are already seeing the same signal since they are all fed from the same dish) support.zip 1 Quote
Tjod Posted August 11, 2014 Posted August 11, 2014 The RTSP Network Device is for Sat>IP. But if i look at the TBS MOI Specification there is no standard mentioned. http://www.tbsdtv.com/products/moi-dvb-s2-streaming-box.html http://www.satip.info/ https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sat-IP Instead thy list only some supported clients e.g. XBMC. If you use Sat>IP you add a device (correct IP, Ports mostly the same). And than run a channel scan if you have non for that reception type e.g. DVB-S. The Hardware works like a local DVB card. as far as I can see tvheadend is using something which is called HTSP https://tvheadend.org/projects/tvheadend/wiki/Htsp If you get a HTTP link per channel. You could put them in a play-list and try open them play-list in the DVBViewer like a video file. Quote
