amateuri
Hi! I am using PCTV 292e tuner and tried few days to scan cable channels without any kind of success. The signal strenght is below the half. I am using Windows 7 64bit, I live in Finland, Turku and cable type is ClearQAM. TVCenter 6 finds all channels, but neither Windows Media Center or DVBViewer doesn't. Please help. Thanks in advance. Edited September 12, 2014 by amateuri Quote Link to comment

Tjod
Open the configuration folder and close the DVBViewer. Then replace the existing hardware.xml with this one hardware.xml And then start the DVBViewer and try a chennel scan. Quote Link to comment

TE3
Hi I have a similar problem. My signal-provider (Stofa Aalborg) changed the channel Pattern yesterday. Most of the channels are still working (they were probably not moved), but 7 including 3 very important, are missing. When I try a new channel scan, it says "No Hardware Available (in danish), and in the down-left corner of the dialog-box, it says (in danish: Aktuel enhed) I think: Current unit, but there is no unit mentioned. In "Options" under "Hardware" it list both my HDHomeRun tuners and my Cinergy card. I have attached a support.zip-file Hope you can help me Quote Link to comment

GuranN
Hi! I just found something interresting. In DVBViewer, at the channel search - type in the symbole rate as x1000 (I have 6875 and I typed 6875000) and suddenly all channels where there. It is working perfect - both HD and not HD channels :-) Quote Link to comment
tpaasiala
Just got new Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD TV Tuner and problem was that DVBViewer did not find any channels on cable-tv (I live in Finland, and network is ttv, www.ttv.fi). After some googling found out that adding this line to hardware.xml could help "<entry name="SRx1000">1</entry>". And yes, it worked DVBViewer now works just fine with my new tuner and finds all the channels. 1 Quote Link to comment
