Is it possible to fix the polish characters in EPG data from HotBird, 11513H, 27500 (TVPolonia, Tele5, Polonia1, ITV)? DVBViewer v2.3 Beta, DVBV filter/skyavc.

in theory it should work. At least the new beta runs fine with czech and slovak charsets.

I have the newest beta version installed. Please try to fix this because sometimes is hard to read the description of the event. Thanks

could you post some example? An image like: this is displayed and this should be the correct display :D I'm just asking, because adding eastern (non cyrillic) charsets is quite strange - since every language has their own "special" characters.

Witam Adam,

Marfi helped me in solving this problem. It seems that every broadcaster brews its own soup.. I will play a bit with those hotbird channels to see if it works stable.

Witam hackbart, :D

Sounds great. Looking forward for next beta or stable version. If it is possible you can send me a small update for testing purposes. (*Edit*)

Hello

In DVBViewer v3.2.x same problem with Cyfra+ EPG (Hotbird) like described in earlier post. If it is possible please fix this. Thanks

Well the problem was:

French vs Polish. Both are using similar characters, polish in order to emulate french just because of :P If i filter É polish looks fine, but for example RÈGNE would be RGNE :bye:

I currently collect some data and evaluate them.. Drop me mail if you want to check the

texts in order to avoid spelling mistakes.
