Tjod
The DVBViewer don't support client site decryption. So it will not work with encrypted channels. Quote Link to comment
blaimer
it is not possible to use the CI module of a BDA device for decrypting the channels? There are also plugins that provide a [removed, violating forum rule §13] for DVBViewer so that you can do the decryption by a card reader, will that be an option? Although the DVBViewer Pro provides full pay-tv functionality it must only be used in combination with a valid subscription of a pay-tv provider, a tv-card/box featuring a "conditional access module" (CAM)and/or the corresponding "common interface" (CI) with a smart-card. This applies regardless whether software-descrambling is allowed in your country or not. http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=extras§ion=boardrules Quote Link to comment
blaimer
Ok, this will not be and option then. It’s a great technic to have minimum hardware and cables needed in your house to provide Live tv on every device. But without supporting encrypted channels it is not very useful for me.
