smilingcrow
I’ve recently built a new desktop (Windows 8.1 x64 Pro) and installed the latest build of DVBP as I was a few versions behind; now on 5.3.2.0.It doesn’t remember the playback position of video files so is there something that needs to be done to enable this in newer versions? Tjod
It is a known Bug in combination with the standard EVR. And will be fixed in the next version. http://www.DVBViewer.tv/forum/topic/55639-DVBViewer-532-merkt-sich-nicht-seine-letzte-position/ Quote Link to comment
smilingcrow
Thanks. So which is the last version without this bug as it's a deal breaker for me? Quote Link to comment
Tjod
Change the video renderer to Custom EVR and it should work. And the bug was introduced in version 5.3.2 Quote Link to comment
smilingcrow
I switched over to Custom Render after reading the link you refereed to and it works now. Had some issues with this new system getting it working much more than I recall in the past. Using a PCTV 292e based USB tuner and had to follow the instructions here to get the HD channels working.Had to switch render depending on whether I was watching SD or HD sources but with trial and error and luck have found one renderer that works for all.
