pnkatana
Hello, Just getting into this and have some basic questions for the pro's out there. I have a Skystar2 SAT card running ProgDVB software currently. Been reading about DVBViewer and would like to try it. Is the Skystar2 a good card to use with DVBViewer? Does anyone know usable Satellites in North America using this combination? Thanks for your support. Quote Link to comment
Hartwig
Yes, it is. Every Skystar should come with the Technisat Edition of the DVBViewer. Here is the Board of the DVBViewer Pro. It is a standalone product, an "extendet" Edition of the Technisat Edition with a lot of features. (The DVBViewer supports the skystar2, the airstar2 and the cablestar from Technisat. ) Quote Link to comment
pnkatana
Thanks for the quick reply. this SAT card came from Netsystems.com. Word has it that some cards coming from them get locked out when running a registry file. Currently I'm on Echo 7 and receive the FTA channels so I presume my card is not locked. I will try and download the DVBViewer software from the Technisat site. Quote Link to comment
Hartwig
since driver version 4.2.8, the lock has no influence If you like the program and want more, have a look at the DVBViewer Pro. It costs only 15 € with all further updates and plugins. http://www.DVBViewer.com/ordering.htm http://www.DVBViewer.com/oliver/Einfuehrun...ml#einfuehrung2 Here you can see the features of the pro version Quote Link to comment
