Slow seeking through mpeg file

I was always wondering why seeking a position in my mpeg file takes so long time,sometime it took me 30 seconds going from one position to another.

And here is the answer

Just change the seeking method to bitrate in elecard demultiplexer ,and seeking will take a fraction of a second.
